What is Chiric Sanango?
It is a shrubby plant native to the Amazon, scientifically known as Brunfelsia grandiflora. In Quechua, “chiric” means cold – and not by chance. Those who consume it during a shamanic dieta experience intense chills, sweating, and trembling. But beyond the physical discomfort, true purification begins.
Why is it considered a "master plant"?
Because in the Amazon, not all plants are just medicine – some are teachers. Chiric Sanango is used by shamans for:

It is often part of a process called la dieta, a complete retreat into nature, with strict rules: no salt, no alcohol, no social contact, no sex. Just you, the plant, and nature. Sometimes in complete silence.
What are its effects?
Physically:
Anti-inflammatory, useful for rheumatism and chronic pain
Detoxifying and immune-boosting
Natural aphrodisiac
