Empathy and human nature

There are many situations in which people with low empathy, after struggling to fit into our society and making all sorts of promises, end up being easily lured by any drug that temporarily numbs or diminishes their shortcomings. Human nature often chooses the easier path, and this is how betrayal arises, along with the failure to keep promises (sometimes even written ones 😉), and other consequences that affect those with whom we have social relationships.

In the absence of selfless love, all kinds of inner monsters emerge and take over instantly. Only in special cases and in special people does this unconditional love appear. Most often (if you’re not ill), it can be seen in the simplest gestures — like a moment of affection shown to an animal.

A human is born pure, but society, with all its constraints, quickly stains them as soon as they enter the system of life (human relationships, education, experiences).
